A fine looking FS product with staggering potential - wasted. The novelty has now worn off and in a couple of years time no-one will remember or care about ROF. I am still hoping the ROF developers/distributors can turn around the situation, but it seems less and less likely as time passes.

First of all for the initial terrible user interface (I hope they fixed that by now, its a disgrace if they haven't), second for the DRM, and third for not getting completely rid of the DRM by now. I doubt this is selling much nowadays even from the bargain bins (a pity considering it looked like a good simulator), the developers and distributors have only themselves to blame.

I know they released an update that no longer requires continuous Internet Access when playing single player but I still will not be happy (and will not buy) until they remove all Internet requirements and make them optional (which is what I thought they did).ROF is a fine example of a promising simulator killed in its initial release by its developers and distributors through the use of a hideous, stupid DRM.

C'mon Peter! :(I think the fact that the ROF forum is pretty much dead is a good indication of the level of 'success' of this simulator.ROF seemed like a very good simulator - for me it was killed by a ridiculous, unnecessary DRM and from what I heard a horrible user interface (I could have lived with that if it wasn't for the DRM) and the fact that there is no possibility of any 3rd party add-ons (payware or freeware), the only updates/enhancements can come from the developers themselves and if its aircraft - they have to be paid for.
